A Napoleon III ormolu-mounted, cut-brass-inlaid red-tortoiseshell "Boulle" Marquetry, ebony and ebonised Bibliotheque in the manner of Andre-Charles Boulle

 

The everted pediment with egg-and-dart surround above an arabesque inlaid frieze and two half-glazed cupboard doors, with Berainesque panels below, the interior fitted with three shelves, on a brass-inlaid shaped apron centred by a mask flanked by scrolls.
