All leading Porcelain Manufactories like Meissen, Sèvres, Kopenhagen and KPM Berlin worked in the field of the “Kristallglasuren” (crystal glaze) at the end of the 19th century and they exhibited their products with this technique on the World Exhibition in Paris 1889.
Because of the high costs and the fact that they could not reproduce them for a series, they stopped the research and the production shortly later.
