Captain`s Cup "Alfhild" Edition Manufactory Meissen limited to only 300 pieces worldwide. This is to introduce a new series of SABATIER COLLECTABLES consisting of six Captain`s Cups, each cup showing a different sailing-vessel based on old paintings. The series is limited to 300 cups each motif.
The tradition of the Captain`s Cup goes back to the middle of the 19th century. It was common practice that shipowners gave such cups, showing the portraits of their ships, to their meritorious captains as a distinction and as rememberance of the ships on wich they served.
