Sabatier Galerie & Kunsthandel GmbH & Co. KG was founded in 1963 by Eduard Sabatier in Verden/Aller Lower Saxony in Germany.

In two buildings on approx. 1500 square meters of exhibition rooms Sabatier exhibits flemish and dutch masters of the 17th century, european paintings of the 19th century, classic modern art to contemporary art.

Sculptures from 17th to 20th century by international artists, international antique furniture from 18th and 19th century as well as exeptional Art Noveau and Art Deco furniture and international works of art, well as Meissen porcelain from every period. Sabatier works together with the world famous Meissen Manufactury since more than 30 years as an authorized dealer. Hundreds of Meissen objects from the current production of the world renowned Meissen porcelain is exhibited in the new rooms in the "Grosse Fischerstrasse"  and is delivered to hundreds of different dealers, collectors and museums all over the world.

In 1997 the Meissen Museum Sapporo, whose collection is based on a collection of 18th and 19th century as well as unique Meissen porcelain, was opened. Sabatier is an initiating partner in this project.

Apart from the salaried and free lance scientific contributors Sabatier works together with the directors of leading museums.

Decades of experience and the developed international connections have created a basis of trust in transactions concerning renowed work of art, wich extend  for over the boarders of Europe. Precise analysis of the market provides a guarantee for the buyer or seller thoughout the world that the customer achieves optimal result on selling and buying.

Since more than 15 years Sabatier is member of the world leading art dealer association the CINOA - International confederation of Art and Antique Dealers Associations, KD (Kunsthaendlerverband Deutschland) and the niedersaechsischen Kunsthaendlerverbandes (art trader association of lower saxony) .
